GARLAND-VEALE.
At St. Paul's Ohurob, Cambridge says the N.Z. Herald, on New Year's D.y, Mr J. W. Garland was united in the bonds of matrimony to Hits 4t»nit Veale by the Rev. 8. J. Gibson. The servioo was fully choral. The bride was pretily and daintily attired in white figurtd muslin, with chiffon trimmings. She also wore a becoming bat of white satin straw, with trimmings of chiff.D, ostrich feather, and white silk i ibbon. The bride was attended by bet sister, Hisi Eltie Veale, and Hit* Yen Garland, both of whom wore pretty dr ses of pink muslin, trimmed in hoe and chiffon, wi'h btlts of white satin •ibbon. They wore white hate trimmed with chiffon, feathers, and Mask relvet ribbon. The bridegroom's present to ths bride was a gold watch andohaia, and to the bridesmaids gold ruby band rings. The brif'egrorm was supported by M' ssrs R. D. Garland and B. Teak. Mr and Mrs Garland spsnt their honey' moon at Te A'oha, subsequently proceeding to their borne at Kopu.
