ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
MORGAN ROBINSON. Eltham was all agog, says the Argut, on Wednesday last with the pleasurable excitement of a wedding of great local interest, i.e., that of Miss Lilian Elizabeth Robinson and Mr. Alfred ! Benjamin Morgan, of the New Fljrniontli railway staff, the bride being more familiarly known as " Queenie* to the crowd of guests and spectators, which spoke of the strong interest and respect felt for the couple. The Rev. Mr. Woolloxall officiated in his usual hright and impressive manner. The gaily decorated church (the work of Mrs. Scott), combined with the strains of the " Wedding March " pealing out (played by Mrs Bobjn) and enhanced by die effect of the bright dresses made a picturesque ensemble. The bride wore a cream cashmere dress trimmed with white satin elaborately tucked, the gift and handiwork of the now Miss Robinson, who also made the bine cloth travelling dress, the gift of Mrs. McWhirter (nee Miss Moir), the same skilful hands making many of the important dresses. Ti'ooper Robinson sent an elaborately embroidered veil, which surmounted the orthodox orange blossoms. The four bridesmaids presented an unique effect, Miss Mabey, as chief, and % Miss L. Potts wearing blue cashmere, and Miss Robinson and Miss Taylor cream nuns' veiling, trimmed with Bebe ribbon. All four wore black picture hats, and gold-jewelled brooches, the gift of the bridegroom; Mr, Mechau made and presented all the bouquets carried by the bridal party. In a large marquee, thrown out from the side of the house, a dainty tiffin awaited the guests. Fun and merriment were the order of the day, our genial Mayor, Mr. Woolloxall, and others making witty speeches. In the afternoon incidental music, conversation, and snap-shotting by Mr. Connel, who is always in evidence on these occasions, passed the time away. The bridal pair left for Inglewood amidst showers of rice (the Royal Salute not being omitted), escorted by Mr. Bur* gess (best man). The list of wedding presents orcupy nearly half a column of the Argus.
