NCR PBBBB ASSOCIATION. Ddsxdih, January 4. TheJcquiry touching the death of Jas. MSBride, a labourer residing at Oaveraham, bas been adjourned pending a post mortem. Deceased, who was 53 years of age, stated, when he was found lying at the back of a stable, that his aon-in Uw,Thos. Btoofie'd, had knocked him about, and that Mrs Broofield prodded bim in the stomach with a crutch. On this atatement being repeated in Broofield's presence he said be had uover touched deceased, - J. N. Wilson, an old age pensioner, committed suicide at Mosgiel by hanging himself. The jury returned a verdict ot suicide. A young m*n named Rogers, whose neck was broktn at Kaitangata oni Christmas Day while wreitling with another young sun, died at the hospital last night. Rogers exonerated Bowman, . with-whom he had bten wrestling, from all blame. UiLßOinan, January 3.
