HOCKEY.

A special general meeting of the New Plymouth Hockey Club was held in the Council Chambers on Thuisday evening, Mr Corkill pn siding. It was decided that Rule 2 be altered to read " that the colours of the club shall be royal blue and whi e (magpie), white pants, with blue stripes and cap to match." The committee was instructed to make arrangements for the club to visit Hawera and WaDganui on the 10th and 11th July. After discussing the question of farming an &m ciation, especially in view c f the difference of opinion which ► xisted as to the reading of the rules duiing the last match at Hawera, it was decided to no ify other clubs in the district that n meeting of delegates would bo held it New Plymouth to considei the matter.
