A twolve night season has just been concluded at Auckland. The Auckland Herald says: •-" ' Our Na^y' giv, s an absolutely faithful presentment of the building up of Britain's great naval force, and makes the onlosker realise the wonderful sesults of modern training, and the marvellous improvements in the vessels ard implements of war. The pictures m >ke the life of Jack an open secre-, show him at work and at play, his gallantry and expertness, deal with his life from the raw recruit to the trained and finished defender. No ontertainment seen in Auckland his shown the same amount of excellecice in quality as this latest one. Not a picture was allowed to pass without a round of applause. The light was goad, and there was a minimum of flic-kor. A»i admirable lecture by Mr P. B. Butler strung the series together. A great feature wis the effects invroluced behind the scenes, which added to ton realism of the animated picture 3. Eich picture whs remarkable for its fidelity and picturesque effect." The ' box plan will be opened on Monday ' next at McKinnon Bain's. The season t hero will be for teree night's only,
