FEB PBXSB ASSOCIATION. Auckland, May 21. A meeting of the general committee oF the Society for 'h« Prnmo'ion of Bible Teaching in State Schools was held this morniog, and attended by ministers of the Anglican and Protestant denominations. It was resolved that tbe society sheuld be composed of both ministers and laymen, and layman «hou)d be eligible for election on the executive committer, and th't, racb congregation be invited to elect one layman to serve on the general committee. Sunday, 15th June, was appointed a day on which all ministers shou'd bring the obj ets of the society before their congregntions. It decided thit public meetings should be he'd in all centres of population to advance the objects of the society.
