NEW PLYMOUTH. At the Council Oh>.mbt»)s r,n Wednesday, the formal installation of th; Mayor-elect, Mr E. Dockrill, for the fifth consecutive term, took place. There were present: Mr Dockrill, Ois. Brooking, Carter, Collis, L aland, Stobr, Tisehaud Webster.

Mr Dockrill signed the usual declaration, which W6S witnessed Mr Brooking. He then tendered his thanks to tiu burgesses for again returning him to officß, and to the members of the Council for the friendly manner in which they ha>i worked with him dnriug the post year.
