ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. DtJNEDitr, May 5. A man n-im e d W, Miller was killed on the Culms River railway to-day. When the train I fr. Ofeanomomo Miller either jumped or fell off, and getting under the wheels was dreadfully mangled. Daath is supposed to have been instantaneous. It is feart-d au unknown man was drowned by falling from the Balclutha bridge to day. When the train was approaching, the driver saw a mnn on the bridge and blew the eapino whistle. The man stepped aside, but in doing so apparently slipped and Ml into the river. The crew of the steamer Biicluttaa made search in a boat, but, so far, without success.
