VOLUNTEER NEWS.
(PJIOM OTJK OWN CORRESPONDENT). The Tarata Rifle Olub purneyed to Inglewood on Thursday last to try conclusions with the local division of tha Hawera Mounted Eifles. The match took place on Mr. W. Davies range, beautiful weather prevailing. After the match the visitors were entertained by the corps to a dinner at Host Grylls', followed by an impromptude smoke concert, leaving fer Tarata in Mr. Ohegno'a coach at 11 o'clock, after spending a very pleasant time.
