WIRTHS' CIRCUS.
Oh Tuesday afternoon, after a very pleasant trip from tba West Coast, Wirth Eros.' circus arrived at the breakwater and subsequently came on to town. We understand that they have been attracting exceptionally large crowd?, and that everywheie their performances have been appreciated to a surprising degree. There is no doubt that a really good hippodrome and menagerie is a show that offers irresistible attraction to all class&s and those of all »g«s. With such a talented company of artists as those secured by Messrs Wirth, the ou-j joymnnt of the public is sure to be! secured, Daring feats of horsemanship, thrilling performances of acrobats, the fascinating movements of highly trained horses, and a sensational act by three tigers should form a gcud basis for a [popular progiamms. Besides these, I however, there is a very droli parformin<* elephant, an exceptionally clever bear, jumping dogs, and other amusing animals, while a troupe of expert clowns keep laughter alivo all through the evening. One matter greatly iti favour of the public is the excellent site, opposite the railway station.
