PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. , | Auckland, April 10. ! Shortly before three o'clock this afternoon the dead bodies of two men were found floating off Freeman's Bay reclamation. Thoy probably lost their lives during the night or eirly this morning, the Bupposition being that they wer;> returning from a yochfc, j anchored further out, in a dingy which \ capsized. The men were subsequently j identified as Charles Sawyers and Alexander Moors, both drapers. Further particulars ehow that Sawyers and Moore left for the yacht in a small dingy, intending to go for a sail. The weie seen to board the boat and sii 1 down tho harbour, and the yacht returned in the evening, but no one saw the young men put off to come ashore. Neither of the deceased could swim. Sawyers has two brothers in Taranaki. Dunedin, April 10. The body of the man who had evi • dently hanged himself in Mornington has bsen identified as that of J. H. Forsyth. He had been working about stations in the lakes district, and had been accepted as a member of the; Tenth Contingent, He was to have gone to Addington with the rest, but did not put in an appearance at the last moment.
