TOWN SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A special meeting fcf the committee wan held on Monday, all the members being present except Mi. Syke?. The buainets was the selection of two teachers to be recommended to the Board for appointment to positions in the Central School. It was resolved tlwt Miss J. M. Macintosh be recommendtd as suitable to be appointed to the higher petition. It vvaa also resolved that as the committee w*re not satisfied with aithar of the names ssiit forward to them for selection, Miss P, A. Black bo recommended to the Board as suitable to be appointed to the second position at the Central School.
