T sales, B buyers, S sellers. There has been a faif smount of business in the share market this week. Bmk of New Zealand are inquired for at 47s Bd, but .sellers do not respond. National Banks are also in demand. For Insurance and Gas shares also there has been a mode'ate demand. In local siocks there is an inquiry for Gas shares, but p-ices offered are far below sellers' quotations. Sash and Door have been done at L 5 10s, and are offered at the same figure. The d edging markgt has slightly inu pwved, as the Molyneux river continues to fall, and it now approaching a favourable condition. West Ora»t leturns continue very satisfactory, with prcipoct of further improvement.
