Before leaving Wellington with his fami'y last week, Mr MacKenzic, the new Coinmissionerof Crown Lmds here, was preseoted by bis former colleagues in the District Inndn and Survey
Office, in the Empire Oity, with a valu
able set of solid silver table ware of about 60 pieces, comprising forks, sp ions, fruit knivts and forks, etc., all suitably engraved. The presentation was mi(ln by Mr J. W. A, Marobant, Surveyor-General, in the Board room, some 50 or 60 officrs being present.
