FBH FBBSB ASSOOIAriO*. Aucklakd, February 6. The following team has been selected to represent the North Island against the South Is'and on February 28th, March l«t and 3rd :D. Hay, Kallender (Auckland), H. B. Lusk, D«nt, A. Trett (Hwke's Bay), E. Uph«m, 0. Richardson, Midlane, K Tucker, A. William** (Wellington), B. McCarthy (Taranaki). The selection was made by Mr P. J. Ohlsoo. WANDBRBRB v. INGLEWOOD. A match was played between these teams at Inglewood on Thursday, when the former won by 32 runs. Lightband 28, aud W. 0. Weston 28 were the principal scorers for the winner*; and for the losers Quinn 20, and Nicholls 10 were the only ones to reach double figures. For Wanderers Braund and W. Hill, and for Inglewood Gudgeon and Quinn bowled best. The game was a most enjoyable one, the visitors being hospitably entertaited at afternoon tea, which was dispensed by l«dy friends of the home tetm. TARANAKI DEFKAT WANGaNUI. Haweba, February 6. In their second innings Taranaki made 176, and Wanganui 38. Taranaki thus won by 162.
