BOSTON CONCERT COMPANY.
The manager of the Boston Concert Company, Dr, C, N, Thomas, informs us that his company will give two performances here next week, on Wednes r day and Thursday evening, at the Tnea're Boyal. Nine of our musicloving and progressive citizens have guaranteed the company the necessary amount to induce them to appear here. The Musical Times (England) says of Bernhai;d Wolther, the brilliant vio linist member of the company, that "he ranks as one of the great violinists of the day," L'l'i'n Wo'th°r, the mezzo-soprano of the oomp ny, is spoken of by the Liverpool Courier as " a queen on the stage in appearance, otyle, and minn<r, Her voice i<< a rich and her numb rs railed forth rapturous applaue, to which sh* graciously responded " The San Francisco Exmiiner says of NewtoD, tho humourous impetponator, that "he is an artist of extraordinary ability. He his few equals and no superiors." Beatrice North*, who plnyed More the Dake and DucHess of York at Welling ton, is the »ccompaniet.
