Wellikqtok, January 15, The Primitive Methodist Conference concluded to day, The Sunday Sohool report submitted showed thak there are 63 Sunday schools, 525 teachers, 385 church members, 4717 scholars, 25 catechism classes, 90 members under 14 years of age, and 365 over JS y«ars of age. Bands of Hopja numbered 31, having a membership of 3488 juvenile abstainers, and 136 adults, an inorease of 109. Iu the afternoon the foundation stone of a new Methodist Qhureh was laid. Speeches were delivered by the Premier, the Cthief Justice, and the , Mayor,
Wellington, January 16. The following probationers in the Primitive Methodist ministry have successfully passed their examinations: —B. Dudley. J. Southern, G. Hunt, J. Featherstone, T, R, Wooloxall.
