FIB FBBBS ASSOCIATION. , Sydney, January 8. •The steamer Tangllan has returned - from Kerguelen Island, where she K landed dogs, 360 ton of coal, and 2000 tons of storei for the German Antarctic) expedition. Kergaelen is described as bleak and mountainous, margined with numerous small islands. Landing stores was difficult, owing to the ragged coasts and perpetually stormy seas. The weather was boisterous and foej?y, bnt no ice was viewed. Seveial good lakes were seen inlejpd. Fish were scarce, bat rabbit, descendants of a few which were landed by the 1874 expidition. swarm. The German flag was hoisted on an old hat, the remnant of whalers Herr Easenaperger and Dr. Lakden, members of the Gauss expedition, and a servant, remained waiting for the Gauss, which had not, as expected, arrived. Four Chinese members of the crew died of berri berri fevert, and two were buried on Kerguelen. _________
