INSTITUTE FOR THE BLIND.
SEQUEL TO LATE INQUIRY. PES PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, December 12. A sequel to the recent Government inquiry into the management of the Jabilee I-.stitute for the Blind was set down for hearing at the Magistrate Court. John Mclnhy sate J. W. Tigbe (principal of Institute) for £SO as damages for alleged assault. McInley was one of the compliintants against the management of 'ha Institute at tbe recent inquiry. Plaintiff's statement of claim a'leged that on Angost 26. 1901, defendant assaulted and 4>eat plaintiff who was an inma'e of the Institute. The case was adjourned till Wednesday next.
