PROCEEDINGS POSTPONED. MR PBBHB ASSOCIATION'. Chbibtchcrch, December 12. Meisrs. Cassidy and Joyot, who appeared for Freke and Kerry, charged with conspiracy in the Ariadne cases, applied to Judge Denniston, io Chambers this morning, for a postponement of the hearing of the case on account of the Orown's intention to produce nine new witnesses, one from England, six from Sydney, and two in the colony.' Mr. Stringer, for the Crown, opposed on the grounds that sufficient notice had been given tbe accused, and that the evidence was not new hut corroborative of former evidence. H ; s Honor granted a postponement from the 17th ins f . to the 13th January. j
