ANNUAL MEETING MOUNT EGMOffT 'i LODGE. j Thr installation of Worshipful Master of the Mount Egmont Lodge, No 607, ■ E.C, took piece in the Masonic Lodge Room, Robe-street, on Wednesday j evening, December 12th. There were; present the Right Worshipful D strict' Grand Master Brother Brandon, ac- i cotapaniod by Deputy District Grand ; Master, Bro O. E. Bellringer, and his . wardens and deacons, also P.G.S.W. Bro. Whitely King, N.S.W. The following lodges \reva represented. De Burg Adams 1.0, Ngamotu N.Z.C., Donald McLean E.C., Waifara, Wanganui, Hawera and others. After the lodge had been opened in due form, P.M. Bro J. Whitakor installed the Worshipful Master Elect, Senior War den Bro Edward Chatterton into the cbair of King Solomon, according to ancient custom. P. M.'s Bros. Asher, C. E. Bellringer and Spence also took part in tho csr»mony. P.M. Bro. 3. B. Lever then invested the officers I.P.M. Bro. J. Whitaker, S.W. Bro. F. Ballringar, J.W. Bro. H Sfcemp, Treasurer P.M. Bro. J. Whitakor, Sacretary P.M. Bro. J. Asher, S.D. Bro, Free, J.D. Bro Case, Steward* Bros. Felix Bellringer and W. Olow, Organist Bro. Perry, J.G. Bro Humphries, Tyler Bro. W. 0. Clarke. R.W.D.G.M. Bro. Brandon gave the Masonic chargi-s to tho W.M. and brethren, and lodge was closed in due form. The Brethren then adjourned to the supper room, where an excellent repast was laid out in Bro. J. West's well known style. The usual toasts were honoured in the time known way. Sings were contributed by Bros. Perry, Broom, Cullen, T. Mills and Sherer, an i a very pi* asant time was spent in hearty Masonic gocdfellowsbip.
