PUB PBBSS AB3OMATION. 1 Invercaeoill, December 3. A shocking railway acoident took place last night near Morton Mains, 17 imilaa from here. On, arrival of a special with mails at Edeod»le the driver found entanglrd in the cowcatcher the wheel of a railway tricycle. A. search resulted in Frank Thomas, assistant ganger, being found dead, and Lawrence Fraser, ganger, so terribly mutilated that his life is despaired of. The accident occurred when the men were inspecting the line in view of special and Ministerial trains. The night was cleir, end it is supposed the train came suddenly on the tricycle on the crest of a rise.

On December Ist, us a man name Arthur Bayer was riding home, hi* horse got beyond his control, and in sight of bis father threw him oo to some broken gum ground, causing concussion of the brain and injuring the spine. The young man lingered till Monday night, when he pissed away without h iving been able to speak a word.
