A VERY interesting address was given on this question by Mr. H. Q. Ell, at Warea, on Monday evening, under the auspices of the Warea branch of the Farmers' Union. At the conclusion of the address a number of questions were asked, after which a very hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr. Ell, and a resolution recommending the question of the establishment of a S ate Bank to the favourable consideration of the Government was cirried unanimously.
