Punishment of the leaders of municiparcorruption is promised. Prfsidact Roosevelt telegraphed Mr Tow congratulating the city on the overwhelming triumph of the forces of decency. Schnitz, a Union Labour candidate, has bsen elected Mayor of San Francisco. Massachusetts, Towa, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and New Jersey chi'fly returned Republicans, while Mississipi, Virginia and Kentucky re'u-ned D»rao:rßts.
