PRINCE CHING RECALLED. PEB PBlfss ASSOCIATION. Shanghai, November 7. In consequance of the death of Li Hung Chang, Prince Ching has been recalled to the conduct of affairs. RUSSIA'S AMIABLE INTENTIONS. Received 9, 1.6 am. London, November 8. The Standard's Shanghai correspondent stites that it is understood the Chinese Minister at St. Petersburg has w .rned the Dowager Empress that Russia fully intends to retain Manchuria i? tbe Convention denounced the terms exacted as b ing gravely menacing to China's independence.
