TUKAPA FOOTBALL SOCIAL.
The eighth annual social of the Tukapa Football Club was held on Thursday evening at the Theatre Royal, when there was a large attendance, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. The floor was in capital order, and the music, supplied by Mr McKinnon Bain's orchestra, was all that could be desired. Tho committee of the club, assisted by the ladies' committee, hid j worked hard, an! as a result everything parsed off without a hitch. To the ladies committee especially is credit | due for the excellent supper arrange-' ments, those respmsiblo for the latter being Mesdamts E. Dockrill, P. Webster, Yates, Holmes, S. Teed, Ambridge, W. D. Webster, E. M. Smith, and Mitchell, and Misses E. Rennell, Webster, Yates, Jacob, and Ambridge, The, duties of M's.O. were carried out by Messrs W. Proctor and D. Thomson, and dancing was kept up with vigour till the early hours of this morning,
