FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. "Auckland, October 31. At the inquiry in reference to the Blind lostita e, Ellen Cochrane, an in-! mate, said that five years ago, Tigbe behaved improperly to her. Three other. girls present at the time and Samuel Cochrane, father of the girl, said they did not balieve there was any truth in this statement. The girl was peculiar in her ways. Several inmates gave evidence contradicting the allegations that the food wes inadequate, stating tbat Tighe'a treatment was always kind and considerate.
