WELLINGTON MATCHES. J FSB PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, October 28. Playing for Phoenix in a match against "Wellington on Saturday, Midlane carried his score to 122. The innings closed for 307, and Welling ton has lost two wickets in the second innings for 46. In the continuation of the Midland v. Old Boys match, the Old Boys made 111 in the first innings and Midland has Jl.-st three wickets for 165 in the second innings, Quee being not out with 94.
INTBR-PROVINOIAL MATOHES. j Chbistchukoh, October 23. The Canterbury Cricket Association bas agreed to the match Otago v. Canterbury being played at Christchurch on D.cember 26th, 27th and 28':h, and recommended December 30th and 31sr, and January Ist for the much Canterbury v. Wellington. It was decided that the association could not send a team to Auckland this season.
