PBOTJJsT FKOM WANGABUI. FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wajjganui, October 28. The Executive of Che Wanganui Prohibition League has fo-warded the following iesolu:ion to the Premier : "That the Wanganui Prohibition League, while approving of those proposals in the Licensing Bill now before Parliament which relate to bringing clubs under the supervision and control of the local authority, most strenuously disapprove of the proposals in the Bill whereby (1) endorsement of license is lefn entirely to the discretion of the Magistrate; (2) tht lapse of 21 days is absolute bar to proceedings for a breach of the Licensing Act; (3) the Colonial Secretary is empowered to override the will of the people by granting licenses in so-called tourist districts."
