Wellington, October 23. 1 In oonsequence of the anxiety oatsed by the Monowai being overdue, the Premier hag given instructions tbat. as soon as news is received of the vessel's safe arrival at Hcbatt, or ot her having been picked up by one of the vessels tent in quest of her, the New Zealand flag shall be hoisted on the principal Post Offices of the colfray. Mr Seddon has t further communicated with the Tasmanian Government so tbat any advioe receive! at Hobart may be at once forwarded to this colony.
