NATIVE SCHOLARSHIPS.
FIB PBBBB ASSOOUnoX. * Wbu.ington, October 19. The Inspector of Native Schools has proposed to tbe trustees of the late Sir Donald McLean scholarships at Te Aute Native College that some of the money available (4105 annually) should be diverted to certain scholarships at Maori primary schools in the colony. It has been decided, however, not to I make any alteration in the McLean 'scholarship conditions so far as the I coming examinations are concerned.
