"MULDOON'S PICNIC."
Bright and merry, well seasoned with | clever novelties, "Muldoon's Picnic") provides a jol'y night out, and should , {attract a crowded house »t the. Theatre Royal on Monday night. The escapades of Muldoon (Mr Olark) and Mulcahey (Mr Joe Oowan) are responsible for a rapid seiies of laughter-provokiog incidents, and they serv*, too, as a peg on which to hang an entertaining bill of fare made up of songs, dances, and specialities. Furthermore, they permit of the presentation of an old familiar form of entertainment in a. new and attractive form, via., amid the surroundings of a holiday picoic, in the company of Muldoon's donkey and Muldoon's friends and relations. In the second half particularly some very clever specialities are introduced, including an artistic performance by Rexo, the king of the rolling ball, and ' 8 humourous acrobatic turn, or seri-s ' of turns, by Freddy G irnet, the sup-. \ pie-limbed aud spring-hee'ed dummy i clown. " Rexo "is a show in himself, ,' and no better peiformance of its kind ' j bas been seen in this district. His j balancing and juggling are clean and i j clever. The other members of the I j company are all clever in their particu- ' ( lar lines. The entertainment is one J j that has caught on immensely, and is : sure to meet with popular approval. i
