INGLEWOOD NEWS.

, (From Our Own Correspondent:,) i A tery successful concert and dance was held in the Parish Hall last Monday evening, the call being packed. The first p*rt of the entertainment consisted of instrumental and vocal items, chief among which was a violin solo by Mr. Hutcheson. Then followed two tableaux entitled " Cinderella " and tha " The S!o-ping Beauty." Miss Tack and Mr. P. Price took the leading parts in the firs*, and Miss Bowring and Mr. Hammond in the sacond. The programme was concluded with a laughable comedy entitled "Borrowed Plume"," tho bailing characters being Captain Kosher (H. H. Syme), Dick Mizzle (R. J. Frewin), Miss Violet Bibbins(Miss j t Tuck. The singing of " Gad Save t'*e King" brought to a close one of the best local concerts held in Inglewood for some years. I am given to uudw stand that whm the Inglewood Borough is an accomplished fact, uo c ittie sale yards will be allowed within the borough, If this is so, "while bearing very heavily on our local auctioneers," it will be a »reat boon to tho residents living on the south side of Inglewood, as the proximity of cattle yards greatly depreciates the value of their property.
