j AUCKLAND v. TARANAKI. The match between Auckland and Taranaki, in the Recreation Grounds this afternoon, is exciting a good deal of interest, and, given fine weather, there should be a large attendance. The Auckland team (colours, blue and white) will b l :—Full, E. Sutherland ; three-quarters, Asher, Buckland, Absolum; five-eighth, R. McGregor; half, H. Kiernan; wing-forwards, Doran, S. McGregor; forwards, Tyler, Brady, Cunningham, Nicholson, S. j Smith, 8 >kawell, Bonelh. The visitors put in some practice yesterday morning, and were taken for a drive to Waitara in the afternoon, which was much appreciated.
