BAND CONTEST.
A meeting of the general committee appointed last: week in connection with the Bind Contest of 1902 met pn Monday nigbt. Mr. E. Dockril! was eleoted president and treasurer, and the following conamif-ce was electe3 :—Messrs McKincon Baio, VV. J. Shaw, Johns, Oollis, Richmond, O'Leary. Mr. J. 0. Morey was appointed secretary. A circular will be sent to other binds int°rß3te,l inquiring as to the most suitable date for the ion'est—the! time suggested being the last week in j February or the first in March. I The question of prize i was considered, »nd it was suggested that the principal prizes should be: —Frs', £IOO and gold medals; s:cond, £SO and silver medals; tbird, £25.
