THE CASE OF DR. WILKINS.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, August 21. ' At the Supreme Court Mr. Reed, counsel for Dr. Wilkios, appliel that the charge of manslaughter against accused be taken next week. He said that to keep bis client in suspense till November, as suggested, would amount to positive cruelty. His Honour said he considered an accused person hsd a right to demand a new trial at ones. His Honour fixed the trial for next Monday.
