He was riding after rattle acd suddenly disappeared, the horse emerging from the creek. JBiain's body has not been found. " LiTBR. the body of the young man Blain was found this afternoon in a hole which has 15 fert drpth of water. At the inquest a verdict; was teturued th«tj Blaia was accidentally drowned while mustering cattle.
At Ttikomaru Bay this morning Benjamin Taylor was conducting operations of shifting a blacksmith's shop in ractions when a fierce gust of wind tilted one section over. It fell on him, and it was feared he was very seriously injured. Ltter reports are reassuring. His spine was uninjured, and a few days' rest may 6et him up again.
