NOLAN, TONKS AND DO.'S STOCK BEPORT. August 16. At Opunaku, en tho 13th itisl int, onr yards were fairly represented with cattle, and mostly of dairy sorts. There was good competition for apriogiug heifers ;"id young | cattle. ] At Manaia, on 14th instant, we had a ?ood i entry and keen bidding, late rates being fully maintained. We held a clearing sale on lfitb instant of dairy stock, on account of F. and K. Lord. There was a good attendance, and spiriting bidding throughout, cows averaging L 7 las. Land.—We disposed of Mr. J. L. Perry's farm of 433 acres to Mr. W. 0. Phillips at a satisfactory price. We quote, at Opunake: Weaners, LI 5* to LI 13s; fat cows, L 4 10s to L 4 17s 6d; store cows, L3Bs6d to L3l2s fid; fresh cows, L 3 16s; IP-months steers, L37s6d to L 3 10s; 12 to 18-months heifers, L2 6s to L2 12s. AtManaia: Weaners (mixed), LI 13s 6d to LI lGs; yearling steers, L2 14s; mixed yearlings, 1.2; store cows, L 3 4stoL3 12s; quiet hei'ers, in calf, L 3 10s to L 3 184*, fat cows, heavy weights, L 5 19s to 1.6 Is; fat heifers, L 4 10s to L 4 13s ; dairy cows, L4l6s to L 7; 2-year steers, L 4 4s.
