FREEZING WORKS COMPANY.
Ths adjourned general meeting of shareholder* in theTaranaki Freezing Works Company was held at the Council Chambers on Saturday, Mr. J. B. Connett, chairman of ditectors, presiding. The brlance-sheot was adopted. It was resolved to vote shareholders £6 10s per share, and 'the chairman stated it was expected a further amount of 10per share would bs distributed, on tbe affairs of the company being finally settled. On Mr. J. 0. George's mo ion a vote of thanks was accorded the directors, and an honorarium of £2OO voted to them. Mr. J. S. McKellar was appointed liquidator, and after further formal business had been transacted the meeting adjourned.
