NOLAN. TONKB AND OO.'S STOCK REPORT. Hawbra, August 3. On the 26th nit., our usual tale was held at Kakaramea. A lot of useful stook was yarded, all the ca'tle finding a ready sale. The dairy cons sold on account of Mr. Drewery averaged L 6 16s. | At Mr. Gam Un's dairy sale, on the 29th I nit., the cows were a picked lot, a n't in choice condition, and brought an average (all counted) of L 7 1Q«. The quantity of slock advertised came forward at our Opunake sale on the 30th. ult, and there was fa'r competition. At Macaia, on 31st nit., there was a good yarding of cattle. Bidding was brisk throughout, resulting in most lines being disposed of at the hammer. At Mrs. J. D. Innes' clea'ing sale on Ist inst, the cows and heifers brought an iverage of LP 14s. We quote:—At Kakaramea: Fat cows, Li lit (>d to L 5; springing beifers, L 3 14c bo L 4 16s; 8tor« cows, L 3 6s to L 3 16s; 3-year choice springing beifers, LS 3s ; 8year bullocks, 15 16s; 18-month to 2-yesi steers, L 3 6s tn L 3 12s.
