O. Dent, of Paparoa, to Miss Annie Pearn, daughter of William Poarn, of Injjlewood. The bride was Sastefully dressed in white lustre, with a Ions; white veil, trimmed with orantre blohsoms aud white lace. Miss Liddlo effieiatfd as bridesmaid, and Mr Harold Oleon as best man. The church wes neatly decorated with ferns. The Rev. Robinson conducted the service, the bride being given away by her father. At the conclusion of the ceremony the happy pair were driven to the residence of the bride's father, where several gufs's awaited them, and all partook of refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Dent were the recipients of numerous presents, Mr. Dent presenting his wife with a fine' lady's hack, with side-saddle and bridle. The happy couple left by the 4.40 train for their future borne at Paparoa, staying in New Plymouth over night. Mrs. Dent's departure is a great loss to th' local church, where she bas been the most promiaent memb r ia the choir for a great many years.
