During the afternoon, Mrs Daius Shnttleworth, in very graceful terms presented Mr Young, o't 'U'i.nlf of the congregation, with a haidi.me ma'lle docI', 1 ', as a memento of hi-j ea 'res'; wo'k in that part of the iist'iot, and of the high esteem, in wh'ch he was held, and wished him "ve>y success in his r>ew sphere of liboiif. A'chdeacon Govettandothnrs adlitssed a few remnrks, and Mr Young f<eling!y expressed his thinks, add'ns that everywhere in the district 119 had been well recaived, and it was wi'h regies that he was loaving. inothar pi asing incident was a presentation if a prayer and hymn hook in i case to Miss Andrews, (Mr YouogV nine) male by Archdeacon Govett on 1 ehalf of the teachers, and the gi'ls in the first c-liss of the Sunday ijchoo', ai a memento of her wot kin the school.
