CONCILIATION BOARD.
PKR PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, Juns 24. The Wellington Cotciliation Board renamed its enquiry to-day into the pi inters and machinists dispute. A number of country employers who had been cited protested against their inclusion in tbe Wellington dispute on thegr uod that they wtre in the Taranaki Cocciliation district. Tbe Board decided that newspaper owners at StratfoH, Hawera, and Opunake shoidd not be included. Auckland, June 24. A mee'ing of mine owners and mining com pan j's reprtsentatives was held this afternoon, nearly all the companies cited m the rrcent hearing of the dispute b fere the Conciliation Board being present. Tbe following reso'utions were caried:-(l) That representatives of' com; acies shall refer the matter of appeal by cable to their principals, with a lecommecda'ion t 1 at tbe case bo taken to tbe Arbitration Court; (2) That this meeting endorses the anion of Mr. Brown, of Ue Komata Reefß GoMmining Company, and p'edges iteelf to give him all the moral and actual support possible. It was decided to fcrm a Mine Representatives Association, and the. m cessary initiitory st*ps were taken.
