PS* PRESS ASSOCIATION, Auckland, June 16. A fire broke out about • leven o'clock on Saturday night inja wooden building ktown as the pl>gue contact hospital. It was baing used at the time aa quarters for come country moun'ed corps in town in connection with the Royal vi-it. By the time the Fire B> igade arrived the fltmes bad a strong hold, and in view of the fact that the lire was half a mile from the nearest stut'on, nothing could be done to save the building*. No one was injured. The bui.diiig belonged to the Oity i 'ouocil and was iesured in the South | British for .£BOO.
