VOLUNTEERS.
Th* Company Parade of the Taranaki Bifles was held last night under Capf.' Okey and Lieut. H&eJcer. Chap'ainj Evans was also present. There was a very good muster. -The matter of a breach of discipline at last pirade was dealt with by Capt. Okey, who intimated that any future occurrences of & similar nature would bo remitted to tht Officer Commanding the district. At the conclusion of the parade Chaplain Evans prcsinted the mddsl, givej by blm for best BKond-dass sho f , to Private Davidson.
Owing to tbe n n-arrival of the troopers the Company did not go to the railway s'ation, but nil fall in at the Drill Hall this evening at 8.30 p m. The Company are to te meastmd for dress trousers at their earliest passible convenience at Sir. CattleyV. Firs* come, first served. The annual ball will be held on the 3rd June. Various sab - committees have been elected.
