A return issued by the Department of Agriculture shoves tho exports of d)iry produce and meat during April to hive been as follows: —Butterj H.23Bewt, £63,958; cheese, 9,525cwt, £21,295 ; frozen beef, 17,519cwt, £19,107 ; mutton, 75,770cwt, £86,564; mutton legs and pieces, 4,357cwt, £4,765; lamb, 96,346 a wr, £150,892. Butter and lamb b >th show increaseoo exports for April, 1900, Total value of exports named for April is £346,582, and for April, 1900, £309,976.
