RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Taranaki Guards fired a portion of the final Olub competition on <lny, cfjiidjfciijnti were not favourab'e for good shooting. Tho competition will ba completed to-day (Saturday)' Id the first-class Sergeant Messenger, 245, leads at present, and in the sicond class Private Short, 224. Scores were as under : FIRST-CLASS.
