I 'i'he New Zaaland Rugby Union met to-night, all the affiliated Unions being represented except Canterbury. Mr. G. F. C. Campbell, in taking the chair, made reference to the comiiftg visit to New Zealand of »ha se.w B:>uth Wales and. said the team waei ooming to the N,3. Union and not to provincial bodies. His Excellency the Governor was elected patron, and Mr. A. F. Htwke, of Southland, pieuidont. It was deciJed that the Appeal Committee be located in Wellington. The committee is to be elected by the N.Z. Union Management Committee. The latter committee was instructed to close a- r.mgemeurs as soon as possible for the visit rf th'? N.S.W. team, also to arrange to hold a cocference of referees in Wellington as early as possible.
