Evidence of three fen.ign members ©f the crew conflicted with that of tho ownors, A German, named Wind deposed that the mate twice during tho voyage told him the captain wag. going to try and run the vessel ashore. He further stated tha mate vm not sober on either ,ocoasions. Freke, another siilor, said the mem who should have been on watch and who had described tbe stranding, had not really been on deck at all,
