Hignctt addressed a few remark of thaaks on behalf of the President ti all who had worked go hard to ob tain such a successfnl result, aud sai< that Waitara had reason to ba prow of its initiatory Show which he migh safely predict would not be tae last o the kind. Where all had worked 6 hard it would not be right to make an; invidious distinctions, und the Com mitteo, which consisted of the followici ladies and gentlemen, are to be heartil; congratulated upon tho result ot tuei efforts :—Mesdames Bleakloy, Bichenc Cleave, Chapman, Coroe, Elliot, Jones j Palmer, Townseud, Vickory, soar., Ul lander, Misses Beothroyd and JuneMessrs W. Dugdale. B. A. Higneit W. Newbery, and G. V. Tate ; and M M- Joaes, as secretary, rendered ver efficient service. The ladi«s provid* afternoon tea and luncheon for th judges and stewards, which was heartil appreciated. Many of the exhibit were donated to the Society, and th thanks of the Committee are duetoth donors, and to Mr Wyllio for kindly selling by auction the fruit, and farm and garden produce for the benefit of the Society's funds.
